For our first Fourth in our new home, I couldn’t wait to add happy patriotic touches to a few different spaces!
For our kitchen, I left most of the table setting from the spring and summer set ups. I changed out the napkins to these vintage navy ones from Hobby Lobby partnered with neutral wooden napkin rings.

One of my new favorite centerpieces is the lantern full of faux hydrangeas. I found the $6 lantern on a temporary sale. What a great deal! I had actually purchased a different vase and returned it immediately. The acrylic water kit is a fun way to add fake water to give the faux flowers a real touch! Although the acrylic sets the flowers and seem permanent, I plan on adding seasonal accents like these small flags for this season to make the flowers work year round. The small discolored flags were coffee stained to give them a vintage look. You can find my simple tutorial coming soon!

The smaller tiered stand I leave out year round also saw minor changes with the small sign and navy star, both sale Hobby Lobby finds. Although the small plants have been there since the spring, I love how they resemble small fireworks for this occasion!

My chalkboard stays here year round mainly to save holes in the wall. This time, I simply used painters tape to line and color in the stripes with white chalk. The only other accents added were a few more small flags and blue ribbon.

And of course, it wouldn’t be summer if we weren’t spending most of our evening free time on our back porch swing, hopefully enjoying fireworks this year!
Love your Fourth of July decor!! This was my first year decorating in my new home too ❤️
