Heartworks Christmas Home Tour

The Christmas season- what’s not to get excited about?! You’ve got bonus time with family, winter fragrances of cinnamon and pine, the coziness of wrapped gifts, twinkling lights, fuzzy socks, cheesy Hallmark movies, and making memories. While I’m busy embracing all of these things, I wanted to share my view of this season with you.

One of my favorite parts about shopping for the Christmas season is getting to support some of my favorite local and online small shops! My favorite hometown boutique belongs to Heartworks in College Station, Texas. They always supply me with the most unique gift, decor and custom faux floral arrangements! You will find many of their beautiful items in the following photos.

The most transformed space in the whole house has got to be our master bedroom. The faux fireplace space has had quite the adventure. We transported the faux mantel from Round Top to our then duplex. We touched it up with paint and it sat as decor for a few years. Once we moved into our new house, we then had it anchored to a wall in our bedroom.

The working sconces were also collected a few years ago from The Findery in Waco and were finally installed a few weeks ago! I love how all of these pieces give a new build the sense of antique establishment.

To jazz up this area, we added a smaller King of Christmas tree. I covered it with chippy white antique ornaments, rounded a Artizen Home chunky blanket for the skirt and topped it with homemade tile inspired ornaments.

In this space, I collected this fun garland on the mantel, snowflake picks to the tree, and a few stack of skinny logs all from Heartworks to finalize the look of this wall.

Anytime the camera is out, Mabel senses it and feels the need to somehow make her way into the shot. If you squint into the tv reflection, you can see my pup making her usual famous appearance.

Now if you know me at all, or at least my style, seeing any red in my home is a rare sight for this neutral loving heart. So be prepared to gasp as I have incorporated some red accents on the wall facing this one. And I’m not hating it at all.

Not gonna lie, the red decor just might be my favorite! Now to wrap this up, be sure to check in to Heartworks and tell them I said, “hi” next time you’re in the area! The good news is that if you are never in the area, they ship from their shop! Did I mention they make custom floral arrangements?! All I do is point to what I like and they literally create masterpieces that I can reuse each year! Check them out on Facebook and Instagram to see more and be sure to check out the rest of my finds from them posted below. Have a great one. 🙂
